This letter is a follow-up to the letter I gave Dennis Allen today about the SERVPRO work, at our home in Warwick, during the past week.

I want to also praise the men who did the clean up work at our home by name. The original four man crew on March 10, 2006 included Julio Capo, Fredy Soberanis, Johnny Rivera and Miguel Santos, all of whom did a terrific job. The two man crew who returned everything downstairs today was comprised of Julio Capo and Fredy Soberanis, who again did a great job.

These four men represented SERVPRO well, were a credit to your organization, and are deserving of praise for the way they do their work.

Thank you for sending two wonderful gentlemen to do the removal of smoke and soot damages. The cleaning took place on February 2, 2006 and it was a job well done. The information that was provided on how to remove the smoke and soot from personal items was priceless!!! They also offered suggestions on how to rotate the furniture from room to room rather than moving things out of the apartment totally, which was the biggest help of all since it is just me and my mother and that would have been a job in itself. But thanks to their great thinking they helped us cut the workload in half. I feel these men really did a fantastic job removing all traces of smoke and soot. In fact some of the items in the apartment look better now that your crew has done their thing to them.

These men were a GREAT assistance to me and my mother during a really tough time, and I just did not want their wonderful work ethic and concern for customers to go unrecognized. Thanks for all the hard work and great suggestions.

To anyone who had had a fire:

In March 2004, there was a large fire in 149 Benefit Street, Providence, the house adjacent to and adjoining my mother's house at 151 Benefit Street, Providence, RI. These are five-story wooden townhouses with a firewall. Although my mother's house was saved by the fireman from any serious damage, there was extensive smoke damage. Every single item in the house was covered with heavy black and oily soot. You could write your name on every wall.

SERVPRO of Metro Rhode Island's crew methodically cleaned the entire house, including every nook and cranny, every light socket, every plug, every book. Their workers were very polite and careful. Their manager, Mr. Vieira, was ready to help with any problems, questions. When they finished, the house was cleaner than ever. I only wish SERVPRO of Metro Rhode Island could have done all the repair work as well which has followed.

If you have fire, I recommended highly that you consider using SERVPRO of Metro Rhode Island to get things back on track. They are prompt, courteous, and efficient.
